DIY summer style bracelet

Finally! Summer is here! This means it’s time to start DIYing and make some bracelets which will look great with your summer outfits! They are very easy and quick to make 😀

Supplies

Step 1

Cut of two pieces of chord (both measuring about 30 cm). Fold them both in half and tie them to the shell.

Step 2

Cut of aprox. 80 cm of chord and use it to make macrame knots (square knots) untill the knotted part is about 6 – 7 cm long. At the just tie a knot and cut of the excess chord. Then burn the ends of the chords slightly and add a drop of glue to make sure it stays in place.

Step 3

Repeat step 2 on the other side of the shell. Now you should have 6 -7 cm of macrame knots and about 8 – 9 cm of chord sticking out from underneath the macrame knots on each side of the shell. The chord that sticks out will be used to make the sliding knot on.

Step 4

Add one bead at each side and tie a knot to make sure it doesn’t fall off. Burn the end slightly and add a drop of glue. Then cut of approx. 15 cm of chord and use it to make a sliding knot. If you don’t know how to make a sliding knot, click here.
