DIY cowry shell bracelet

Hi guys! Sorry I haven’t posted anything in a while! I’ve been very busy with school… But anyways here is a really cool and easy DIY! So gather your supplies and get creative with me!

Supplies

Step 1

Start by measuring your wrist, then cut of twice the amount of cord you need for your wrist and a little bit extra for the sliding knot. Then fold the cord double.

Step 2

Make a few macrame knots (square knots). I made about 7.

Step 3

Take one of the beads and put the two middle chords trough it. Then make another macrame knot.

Step 4

Again make a few macrame knots, I made three, and then add a shell. To add a shell you take both the middle chords and pull them trough the shell.

Then you make a macrame knot.

Then take both middle cords again and pull them up though the shell and make another macrame knot (sorry, I forgot to take a picture of this… 😦 ).

Step 5

Keep repeating step 4 and 5 until your bracelet is long enough.
