DIY soap for beginners

I’ve been wanting to do this DIY for such a long time! Making soap is so much fun and super easy and, if you ask me, the result looks pretty professional! So if you want to know how to make this soap, for yourself or give it away as a present, keep on reading!

Supplies

Step 1

Cut the glycerine in small pieces and put it in a small bowl. Now melt the glycerine by putting it in the microwave. The time it takes to melt depends on which soap base you are using and how much you are using.

Step 2

Add a little bit of blue coloring to give the soap base some color and add a little bit of the soap fragrance.

Step 3

Drop a few drops of coloring, blue and purple, in the soap mold and use a toothpick to swirl the color around. Then add the light blue soap base. Optional: spray a little bit of rubbing alcohol on the soap to get rid of air bubbles.

Step 5

Let your soap harden for at least 45 minutes! After that you should be able to pop it out of the mold pretty easy!

And with that you’re…

DONE!
